Many pairs of cranes live in the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park, some of them all year round. Their calls can be heard particularly often in spring and autumn, but they can also be observed during their fascinating dance. This is not only for mating, as shown in the last picture, but also for pair formation and bonding.
