As everywhere in eastern Germany, there are numerous wolf packs and individual wolves in Brandenburg. This wolf lives near the Groß Schauen lakes. Sometimes it approaches houses, as it did near the village of Philadelphia near Groß Schauen. When hunting, it approaches wild geese in the hope of finding an injured or sick animal. Wolves are usually only out and about at dusk or at night. These photos were taken at midday.
