Lynxes are now living in the Fichtel Mountains, albeit in isolated cases, as well as in the Bavarian Forest and the Harz Mountains. However, they are constantly threatened with persecution. They are very shy, so it is almost impossible to photograph them in the wild. These photos were taken in the Mehlmeisel wildlife park in the Fichtel Mountains at an altitude of 900 m in spring.
